site news
This page will list all the stuff we think you need to know about us. Drop by frequently to keep up to date.
3D photography
We are helping a photographer work out a process for producing 3 dimensional photos without the need of glasses.
Code this
People are starting to recognise QR codes now. Just started a project to track and allocate assets in a small parts department with stock management and online tracking - using QR codes.
Roulette anyone?
A student asked us to prove the Martingale betting system, one way or the other... hopefully it wasn't a dissertation, but it is just the kind of weird thing we love to do.
Major upgrades
Just finished a major upgrade to an existing system for a large NGO. Repeat business is always a good thing.
Virtual prototyping
Providing a hosting solution to a large NGO for prototyping a solution while they sort out their procurement process. This allows the development team to get a head start and hone the final solution before purchasing large internal servers that may need a lot of re-work.
Australian advertising
Working with an Australian advertising agency to provide a system that will allow fast booking of roadside and digital assets.
A purrdy new website
Completed a new website for a cat breeder.
Award winning applicaiton
We just recieved an award for being part of a team that provided major value to it's internal revenue streams by moving a lot of labwork into the field.
Things are looking cloudy
But that is a good thing. With the launch of the cloud we now have a very reliable hosting solution. We also have skills in the market if you're interested.
Large project to move labcoats into the field
Just starting a new project to build a new system for testing oil samples out in the field.
Visual navigation
Is it possible to navigate using the stars - of course it is, if you're human. What about a computer? We're about to find out. Lets hope we get a few cloud free nights this summer.
Facial recognition application
Something most of us take for granted - recognising faces. Computers suffer from prosopagnosia a lot, so a gated entry system that can identify people and retrieve all their data without a key card is mildly useful. Not to mention recognising people walking down the street.
Robotics
Helping to build a robotic control system over IP. Possible applications in law enforcement apparently.
