DEPRICATED: This plugin is no longer supported as a lot of the issues with file uploads have been fixed in the core product.

The notes below are for people who have the plugin already.

This plugin replaces some of the functionality that was replaced by version 2 of wordpress. It allows for configuration of an upload section and for you to have some control over the maximum file size and the extensions of the files that are allowed.

It also has some tweaks that allow some of my other plugins to function.

Plug-in installation and activation

Unzip the plug-in into your wp-content/plugins directory. In your plug-ins admin panel you should enable the plug-in. Once enabled, there should an Uploads option on your menu.

Parameter explanation

The parameters are the same as the old version on WordPress. The level option will be replaced in a future version.

Fixed bug where upload directory is mis-specified.
Added support for MP3 upload (although embedded uploader is better here as it adds podcasting ability)
Upped the max upload size to 10Mb (assuming your php setting is bigger than this)
